Bienvenidos a Carlos Paz!

So where I last left you was that we’d returned to Salta from Chile. We got back at about 7pm on Saturday, went to pick up our little Loons (good thing too, as she had a huge tic on her ear) and do some errands, as we had a pretty quick turn around before going away again! Thankfully we also had the whole of Sunday to get ready as our flight to Cordoba was on Monday morning. We readied ourself in the day and then in the eve pootled off to the city centre. Supposedly there was an event to celebrate the Chinese new year from 4-8, so we got there at 7 and it was already finished! I found it quite disorientating that I was in Argentina again, not Chile! But anyways, then we decided to go off to a Mexican restaurant which had been recommended to us for a quick bite and an early night and as we got there, saw one of the expat pals sat outside! So joined her and had a nice dinner there, which resulted in a much later night than planned! But was really lovely.

The next day we set off for the airport to come to Cordoba. After a 22 hour bus journey to Chile, I can’t explain how lovely a plane journey of an hour 15 is! It confuses me you can go on the plane for so short a time. I’m used to coming out to Arg which for me has often been like a 40 hour + journey door to door! But anyways, we arrived and soon found ourselves sat by the pool, telling of our Chilean adventures.

Our Córdoba holiday was very chilled! We spent the week sitting by the pool, pootling around town, going out on the boat (I did the banana boat for the first time. Great fun! And of course, as soon as Nolz took over driving, he managed to get us straight into the water!) and doing wakeboarding. In the evenings we sat around, played games or went out for food and it was just all very chill and relaxing. Oh and one night, unexpectedly, Nolz and I found ourselves going to a musical! The others went to a stand up comedy thing and we thought there would be a lot of cultural references and things I wouldn’t get so we decided to go see Kinky Boots and oh my! It was sooo good! We went in without really having much expectations. I mean, a musical about shoes? But it was great! And I impressed myself to be honest, as I followed all the Spanish and understood the songs and basically got it all ! 💪🏻 musicals just make me so happy too haha.

The weather was pretty good! Only had a thunderstorm or two in there and, unbeknownst to everyone else, for me I’m rather tanned! Which noone here really notices as the bar for being tanned is a lot higher hahaha.

But anyways, before we knew it it was time to make our way back to Salta and was the end of our holiday! So I shall leave you with some more pictures below 😜
